We of the F.M.M.F Society would like to thank all former volunteers, venders, supporters, and performers for your dedication, hard work and sacrifices to make this event a memorable one.
Due to circumstances beyond our control we are sad to inform you that the festival will no longer take place in this format. We may look into other options.

A Letter From the FMMFS
The Fruitvale Mountain Music Festival Society is a non–profit organization dedicated to promoting music in the Kootenays. Our goal is to organize an annual family oriented music festival on August 10th–12th at the Marsh Creek Family Park in Fruitvale. This festival will include children´s entertainers, comedians and jam sessions with special emphasis on local independent artists, estimated to attract between 2000 and 5000 spectators. There will also be various food and art vendors with an open invitation to any local businesses or individuals that wish to participate.
FMMFS has a five member board as well as twelve different chairs and subcommittees, totaling, approximately eighty volunteers. A few of our supporters include the local Hockey Club, Beaver Valley Nighthawks, Eagles, Rotary Club, Lion Club, BV Youth Center, Search and Rescue as well as the Village of Fruitvale and Regional District. Local businesses have been very supportive & musicians and members of the FMMFS hold jam sessions as fund raisers twice a week at local pubs; we also sell T–Shirts and hats. However, in order to raise the required funds, we need help. We know our community has a lot to offer and in order to initiate this wonderful opportunity, please help us reach our goal. Any contributions will be appreciated. Thank you for your support.
